Today my roommates dad took us out to dinner, and when thanking him he said to my roommate.. "it's fine.. she doesn't eat much"

I'm not sure why this makes me feel weird.

I will find out the week of the 20th if I get a psychiatrist.

My therapist said to me today that if I feel like things are getting too overwhelming that I can go somewhere for a couple weeks and get things under control. She told me we could tell my parents it's for depression if I don't want to tell them about food.. and I was like "yea.. because that would be better". I don't think she understands.
